Years 9 & 10
Our Middle School Certificate provides a specialised two-year program to engage students and prepare them for the VCE. Like in the VCE, students design their own course program. This gives them a sense of ownership of their learning and allows them to pursue their talents.
Personalised learning gives every student a pathway to strive for excellence and enjoy learning success, with extension and support opportunities provided in every subject.
Acceleration can include more challenging classwork, academic forums and competitions, or leadership roles that harness particular talents. Where appropriate, students can also step up to senior classes for specific subjects.
Career and subject counselling ensures students move into the VCE with a clear pathway for the future. We encourage Year 10 students to have high expectations of themselves as they set and pursue their goals.
