On Thursday, the 21st of November, the International students of Elwood College went on an end-of-year trip to Torquay to celebrate the completion of the school year. After already having been to Tasmania and many other International celebrations throughout the year, this trip to Torquay was a great opportunity to share many more good moments and make memories for life.
We started the day with a short stop in the Torquay city centre before heading to Torquay surf beach, where we had the opportunity to take part in a surf lesson. The surf lesson started with a small introduction and practice on the sand before we took part in many activities such as a relay race. We ended our surf lesson with practising standing on a surf board in the water while catching a wave before we headed back to Elwood College.
